Smell of You – A Parenting Parody

Recently downloaded the new Ed Sheeran album and got a certain song stuck in my head, which, as it happens, lent itself quite nicely to a parenting parody.

Sleepless nights, Tom Hardy, group peeing, Spanx, and Dairylea – here we go…

First video up on my new ‘Tired ‘N Tested TV’ channel – more in the pipeline so please hit subscribe if you like!

Thanks!

Brilliant! I’ve absolutely no idea where you find the time to write….but I’m so glad you do, it’s lovely to know I’m not alone with the ‘mummy issues’ that I never knew existed 4.5 yrs ago! Ignorance is bliss! Xx

It’s certainly not just you it happens too, and when it does happen it is usually so far from funny it’s untrue, that’s what make your blogs brilliant, you turn the most tearful and traumatising situations into comedy. Xx

I’m a huge Ed Sheeran fan, so I totally appreciated this video as a fan and a mom. I couldn’t stop laughing (especially at the “now my bedsheets smell like poo” part!). Love it so much I shared on my own blog. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with 🙂

I absolutely love this. I have 4 kids between 1 and 15 and this video is my life! Made me laugh so hard. And you look great for 2 kids, if I may say so 🙂

kudos for posting this Sophie and thank you for helping to render mums’ role more a bit more realistic ! i share your approach of being open about challenges of parenthood: it can be so much fun but challenging at the same time. If we all shared our lows as much as the highs, we would all feel much better about our day to day achievement.
